Healthcare Management System Design – System Analysis & Design Course Project

I am excited to share my experience in designing a Healthcare Management System (CareCore) for my System Analysis & Design course project. For this project, I collaborated with a cross-functional team to design and develop an innovative healthcare management system aimed at streamlining patient data management and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.

Key Contributions:

  • Conducted a comprehensive feasibility analysis and SWOT analysis to evaluate the system's viability, identifying key opportunities and challenges in the healthcare domain.
  • Designed and implemented system models using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) to visualize and optimize patient data workflows, ensuring seamless integration across departments.
  • Developed process flows to enhance operational efficiency, reducing redundancies and improving the accuracy of patient records.
  • Managed database design and implementation, ensuring secure and efficient storage, retrieval, and management of sensitive patient information.
  • Utilized PERT diagrams for effective project planning and timeline management, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

  • The system significantly improved patient data accessibility for healthcare providers, enabling faster decision-making and personalized care.
